I saw some shoes this weekend at a Prime Time Tournament in McKinney. The Odyssey team was wearing them. They looked like a very skillful team. The shoes were very colorful. Does anyone know what these are and where I can get them?

Not sure which age group you are talking about but if it was the 03 boys, I would bet the shoes were the StrikeZone Cleats that were created by the Clubs owners. You can find them here: https://www.strikezonesoccer.com/. I believe a number of the 03 boys were them and they are very bunch of skilled kids.

They look like something for kindergarten to me. A keen 8 year old player should have digested enough marketing that he is only gonna want the latest shoe that Messi wears....

They are part of a skills teaching package that teaches kids how to strike a ball. It comes with a custom color coded ball, the shoes and a CD. My son helped with some demos for the CD and says it worked very well. Quite innovative .

Re: Colorful Soccer Shoes
Well, my son's academy team (and entire club i think) have made these "juicy fruit" cleats as I call them a part of our uniform package. Haven't received them yet and may only use them for practice. I didn't like the fact we couldn't try them on for size and had to choose a size and hope they fit, and I also was like, can't I cut the $100 off my bill and not get the shoes??? Will see how they are. My 17yo laughed his butt off though when he saw them.

My son's team has played them. they are a very highly skilled team. They did try to use the training ball as the game ball which our coach protested against and the Ref made them change the ball out. no way they should be allowed to use that ball in actual games.
