2018 Select

Post by Barca2008 on 2/8/2018, 12:06 pm

I have a 07 son currently with FC Dallas, but I am interested in possibly moving to another team. I wanted to see if we could all pool our knowledge together and possibly come up with a list of Select Dues for the majority of teams. This can be useful to parents like myself, and others, who are looking for an alternative to paying upwards of $3000.

all of the big clubs charge over $3,000. you probably need to go to independent ones if you are looking for a cheaper option.

This is very true. There is a big price jump from the big clubs to independent dues, depending on the level of league play as well. An independent club playing outside Classic or PPIL/APIL might be as low as $800 but more likely $1200-$1500for the year including some tournaments (not including kit).
The big 3 are over $3000 for club fees, plus league fees for Classic and tournaments you’re between $4000-$5000 easy.

Scholarships are theoretically available at most clubs/teams for the right player, but that cost is either covered by the other parents or the coach himself if the roster is large enough. Depends on the needs of the team.

Smaller clubs also tend to get more creative with sponsors and fundraising.

If you say what part of town you’re in you might get more helpful information in direct messages, but I think you will find most people on this forum won’t just list out exactly where their Kid plays and how much they pay.

Maybe everyone could just log out and reply as a Guest with exact information for him.
