Did Mckinney have the Man Child playing again?

Yes we did. It was a great match between two great teams. We have been playing this team since Zeph Badii had them, then Marcio, and now Stavrou. Mckinney went up 1-0 and then Texans equalized on a accidental header turned indirect kick in the box, all before the half. Second half was just a good battle between the two teams.

More feedback please?

Ayses 4-2 DTS - Prediction: Dallas Texans South will only win 2 games.

Which two???

Solar Mckinney tied 1-1 the second half. Good showing from both teams. Even game that could have gone either way. Two of the top 4 teams.

Fever.... oh Fever.... finished the half up 3-1. Lost the game 6-3. Elite had no subs.....

Allegiance 2-0 FCD ETX. CONFIRMED; Elite United's best player moved to Allegiance..... HOW????

How?  With a club release and a permanent roster change it can certainly be done although its pretty uncommon.  A better question is Why???

Adding on the to elite/alllegiance questions, if that player did switch how did they only beat FCD ETX by 2 while elite maintained form and beat fever pretty decently?

One would think if the switch happened those results would be much different right?

Perhaps Fever isn't quite as strong as advertised. And/or they simply may not match up well against Elite.

Not sure why you even need to explain. your kid's team is good. all of these teams are pretty good. difference is usually a couple of kids having an off weekend most of the time. there is only one team that truly plays the beautiful game. other top teams kill you with athleticism that will eventually even out as kids get older. they are just better at recruiting. your kid has a great coach and probably loves to play with his team. that is all that matters.

It was more of a question to why allegiance didn't destroy FCD ETX. If it's the elite kid in thinking of it shouldn't have been that close.

Still would like to understand from a registration/rules standpoint, how can this happen? Not criticizing the move. But  I think we are all interested in understanding how can this be done.

If the coach and club sign a release, he can sign with another team if they have roster space - its really not that difficult as long as everyone is in agreement.

I think the hard part is getting the coach to sign the release especially if you haven't paid 100% of your ANNUAL fee.

If you look at the 03 or 04 forum (I have an 03 bb that plays) you can look at the issues that parents had with the Hammers FC Dallas team which really wasn't an FCD team but he was charging FCD prices. Once some of the parents found out it all hit the fan. Granted I am paraphrasing the entire incident and don't recall all the details but he wouldn't release kids to go play elsewhere.

I have seen some coaches release kids prior to paying the full annual fee because the parents and/or kids were nightmares for the team and I have seen some coaches not even care that the kid is not coming out to practices etc. and still won't release the kid until paid in full.

What you may or may not see (from my experience) is after the end of January when parents are full on their payments, kids being released from rosters. Granted this was several years ago with my first bb's year of Classic League, but at the end of January is when we started to see movement. Again that was with larger rosters on the 11v11 fields, parents thinking their bb's not getting enough playing time and wanting to move for immediate solutions, etc. etc.

Maybe it's not that way anymore. That's just my experience.

NTSA 3.10.7

A competitive (select) player is obligated to his competitive team for the soccer-playing year for competitive players from the time he signs a contract until the end of the subsequent soccer playing year (August 1 of the prior soccer year through June 30 of the current soccer year). Release to transfer to another NTSSA competitive team will be allowed under the following circumstances:

Transfers that are approved by the player’s current coach may be granted at any time on or prior to April 1.

Then this is probably what happened. Does this also work for the big clubs for moves within the club's team? Is a release needed at that point?

Release still has to be signed by the current coach if the move is permanent. Even if it is in the same club. The same bb can't be rostered on two teams in the same division of CL or in two different divisions in the same age group. If they play up I believe it has to be the same division or greater.

ETX Wildcatters v LP St John 3-1
Ayses v Allegiance 1-2
