Liverpool St John - North Fort Worth Area

Liverpool St John is looking to add a few quality players this summer.   If you are in the North Fort Worth/Far North Fort Worth areas, this is a team to look at.   (have a few players commuting from the Burleson/Mansfield area).  Quality team led by one of the premier coaches in DFW, Austin Hudson.

• 1974-78 : Youth Club, Bush S.C. (St. Louis)
• 1978-79 : Seattle Sounders   (N.A.S.L) amateur contract
• 1979-80 : Southwest Illinois College
• 1980-81 : Drafted 3rd round to Cleveland Force (M.I.S.L)
• 1981-82 : Kansas City Comets   (M.I.S.L)
• 1982-84 : Oklahoma City Slickers (A.S.L)
• 1984-86 : Louisville Thunder   (N.P.S.L)
• 1986-88 : Memphis Storm (N.P.S.L)
• 1989-90 : Dayton Dynamo (N.P.S.L)
• Trained with professional teams in England (Wimbledon F.C.), Germany (Rot-Weiss Frankfurt), and France (Grenoble F.C.)
• 1990 : Retired from professional level
• 1990-97 : Oklahoma City (U.S.L) semi-pro league
• 1996 : Austin played against the legendary Diego Maradona in Buenos Aires, Argentina

• Amateur contract with the professional team Seattle Sounders (NASL) right out of High School.
• Two-time College All-American – SW Illinois
• Holds School record for goals scored in a season at SW Illinois (23)
• Drafted 3rd round to the Cleveland Force (MISL) (Eddie McCreadie –Coach)
• “Man of the Match” in a winning result vs. Fort Lauderdale Sun in August of 1984 (1 goal, 1 assist).  Three players that played in the 1982 World Cup in Spain were in the Fort Lauderdale side.  Teofillo Cubillas (Peru), Dave Watson (England), Asa Hartford (Scotland)
• Goal Scoring Champion at an International Professional Indoor tournament in Mexico City (10 countries represented)
• Former League MVP (USL - Indoor)
• Five time USL All-Star

Coaching Experience:
• Founder and Director of nationally acclaimed ROYALS F.C. (OKC, OK) est. 1990-2006
• U.S. Soccer "B" National Coaching License
• Present U.S. Soccer Regional ODP Staff Coach for Region III
• Super Clubs National Team Staff Coach during play in Britain  against EPL academy teams
• Residential Academy Director for Coastal Carolina University Camp
• Received sponsored coaching education thru Adidas to observe the Argentina (U17) and Uruguay (U21) National teams training methods as well as professional teams in those countries such as: Boca Jr’s, River Plate, and Defensor.
• Extensive coaching observation of Professional youth club organization in England with pro clubs Manchester United, Liverpool, Everton, and Bolton Wanderers of the English Premiership
• Former Player/Asst. Coach for USL team Oklahoma City Warriors
• Austin personally coached ROYALS F.C. teams to 3 National Championship Final Four Appearances, 3 Regional Championships, 2 Regional Runner-Ups, 3 Regional Semi-Finalists, 18 State Championships and 15 State Runner-up titles
• Head Coach for Fort Worth FC Womens WPSL team 2011
• Coached Dallas Legends FC to a championship win at the 2010 - U23 Men’s U.S. National Finals
• Staff Coach for Liverpool FC America (Youth Academy affiliate with Liverpool FC – England)

As you can see, Austin has an immense amount of professional playing experience, along with a highly successful track record guiding youth select soccer teams. Austin is tough, but fair. He is an educator, motivator, and mentor that is a rare find at this age level. His kids respect him and respond to his dynamic personality. Practices are comprehensive, touching on skill, precision, pace, passion and the details needed to be a quality player and valued teammate in a cohesive unit.
